Terms & conditions

This document will give you an outline of all the terms and conditions for using the services of ScholarGurus. You are requested to read and understand them. Availing our services will imply that you have understood and agreed to these terms and conditions. You are also supposed to abide by the terms and conditions. We will not liable for any dispute arising out of non-conformation. If a dispute arises and we are not able to amicably resolve, the dispute will be in the jurisdiction of courts in India.

Definitions:

1. “ScholarGurus”, “We” and “Us” stand for the consultants.
2. ‘Terms and Conditions of Our Services’ is a legal agreement between the student and ScholarGurus.

Services Included:

Visa Assistance - Post-admission, ScholarGurus, will guide you with getting visa in the respective country.

University Selection - For pursuing your studies, you may select a University with which we have partnered.

Application Assistance - You will get assistance with filling up the forms, preparing statement and recommendation letters. 

Scholarship Assistance - We will guide you to understand your eligibility on getting university scholarships in the course of study.

Services Not Included:

No surety - While we assist students in getting admission and scholarship, we do not assure admission.

External costs - Students will be responsible for the expenses incurred on application like qualifying for TOEFL, IELTS etc.

Student’s Responsibilities:

No misrepresentation - Any fraudulent representation may result in termination of our services. You may also not get any refund.

Accuracy of the details - Our services are offered in good faith that all the information given by you are accurate. We are not responsible for rejection if the details are not accurate.

Adherence to the timeline - Students are supposed to adhere to the deadlines. You will be solely responsible for the outcome if you don’t submit the application on time.

Refund Policy:

Eligibility For Refund - We may terminate our services and withhold refund if you are found to be indulging in any fraudulent practice, including misrepresentation of details.

Change Of Plans - In case you decide to drop the plans to pursue the course of study abroad, we will not be able to refund the charges.

Non-admission to a course of study - We don’t assure admission to the chosen course of study in a university. Any claim for a refund on the premise that you didn’t get admission will be rejected.

Assurance of Admission:

Criteria Fulfillment - Universities are the actual course suppliers. Admission to the course of study will solely depend on criteria set by the university.

Application to Universities - ScholarGurus will require you to apply to several Universities. We may not be held responsible for students not getting admission if they haven’t applied in multiple universities.

Adherence to deadlines - We may not be held responsible for rejection by the institution arising out of missed deadlines.

Undertaking:

1. All the information I have submitted are correct to the best of my knowledge.
2. As far as my credentials are concerned, they are genuine and there are no misleading claims.
3. I authorise ScholarGurus to represent my candidature for admission in an institution which offers the desired course of study. 
4. I give my consent to ScholarGurus with respect to sharing my details, including personal and educational, with the institution where I will apply.
5. I understand that ScholarGurus is just providing me with the necessary guidance. Actual admission to a course of study will depend on the institution.
6. I validate that I have understood the content of the course and we will not be held liable.
